Last Saturday Hubs went out with cowboy Josh to feed and doctor steers and when he came back he called and said be down in 20 minutes we're going riding. We all got our boots on and headed down to the barn.
Cowboy Josh had everything ready along with Greg. They were very helpful, the girls had never rode western before. they picked the most gentle horses on the ranch the ones the kids ride. before I knew it they were up and riding.
Yup even Hubs rode, he said it's been aboug 30 years. The earth might have rumbled I am not sure.
Josh got everyone up and going. Even Miss E got up and rode, lets just say it's not her favorite thing to do. A bad experience when she was little. But he talked her into it. He was great. if you didn't already know Cowboy Josh is a great guy, I wish he lived closer.
and the best part, I got to ride for the first time in three years. I was always afraid to get back up because of my cancer but they talked me into it. Cancer girl rides the range, roping cattle and chasing bad guys. not really but it sounds fun right?
We had our very own posse. It was so much fun, we all bonded as a family.
they switch around horses and Miss H was able to do some faster riding.
she did some fancy riding and tried a couple things Josh tought her.
Josh and Greg gave us a little roping lesson. it was amazing to watch.
Ree was out with MM and the kids doing the soccer thing so we were very happy that Josh and Greg were able to hang out with us. Thanks guys you made a dream come true for me.
Next up A Sunday shooting match.I have lots more adventure to share, however I never got a picture of Charlie, it's a long story, i'll wait and see if Ree posts about it.
Ahhh, say it isn't soooo!! I have been waiting for your Charlie pics!! I'd settle for Walter, though.. :)
The pictures are wonderful, Sarah.

What a great time your family had! Looks like memories to last forever. So glad you and your daughter, Miss E, got up and rode too. As much as she might not have wanted to, maybe it replaced her bad moment from childhood.
That Josh is kinda cute too ; )

Oh WOW! Looks like a blast - know what you mean about Josh - he was amazing with our kids (who are still mimicking his accent!).
My first proper visit to your blog - sending big hugs from Down Under!
