On Wednesday morning we woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow. About 5 inches or so. It was such a pretty snow, the flakes were so big and fluffy and sparkled in the sunlight. I just had to get out with my camera.
It took my breath away. Where ever I turned I saw beauty.
It was so quiet and bright and clear. I really needed to get out and get some fresh air. To be by myself and enjoy the solitude.
It did the trick. I had some company on my walk but I will do a separate post for that.
The snow is so fluffy looking! I may venture out for a little bit with the camera today, but the cold temps are what holds me back.
Enjoy some peace and quiet.

What kind of camera are you using to get those amazing close up shots? I can't believe you can see the individual flakes! Beautiful!

I was thinking of you today, wondering how you were doing. And I see you had the same sort of morning that I did on Tuesday - even the same amount of beautiful snow.
What a treat to wake up to a world transformed. And I love the quiet that a blanket of snow brings.

Really love pictures; you can really see the flakes sparkling. And I can just imagine the solitude you experienced. The crunching under foot, the stillness about.

Such lovely winter images. I enjoy the start contrasts between white, red and blue. An all american winter!
I hope today find you feeling well : )

Living in Florida ..... I have never seen snow. These photos are amazing. It doesn't even look real. It looks almost like cotton batting. Thanks for sharing.

It wasn't snow that brought me outdoors a few days ago, but sunshine. We had been without it for better than a week and it invigorated me so much! It can be a photo nuts best friend.
