We just got back from a long weekend visiting family in North Carolina. We were very busy and had a great weekend. We were able to look at a couple of schools with Miss H and celebrated her 17th birthday.
We had dinner at our favorite spot to go in NC. Miss H got a huge cake, It was delicious!
I had a little time to get out and take some pictures, I now want chickens. They are so fun to photograph.
This is Eeyore, he likes to bray really early in the morning before it gets light. He also has a big belly.
and has very fuzzy ears.
I missed Finny and Sadie while we were gone but Spanky helped me deal with my feelings. (Spanky does not like his picture taken, he always looks away from the camera)
I can't wait to go back but it's nice to be home.

I agree completely about chickens being fun to photograph! (Also about the belly on that burro - heh!)

We have a dog like Spanky as a matter of fact she looks a lot like him except she is all black. Does not like her pictur taken, can't even point a cell phone at her and she will turn away or get up and move. Its almost as if she is afraid you will steal her soul if you take a picture of her face.
