It's been rainy and dreary for days, but the sun peaked out for a little bit this morning so I grabbed my camera and took a couple quick photos.
There aren't many flowers left in my garden, but some are still holding out.
When I was snapping away I looked up and found this guy ready to pounce on me. Glad I saw him in time!
Yikes! You are never more than three feet away from a spider you know!
So pretty, Sarah. Flowers are beautiful any time of the year, but the last ones of the Fall are always special. It's like saying goodbye to friends that you know you won't see again until next Spring. Thanks for sharing your beautiful blooms!

I really like the spider! It's gorgeous :) My rule is I can look at them, I can be near them, but they can never be in *my* house!

He is what is called a barn spider. They are cute and quite harmless.
Yes, your flowers are holding on quite nicely. I don't have any left at all. :-(

Sarah, you have a wonderful blog! Just stumbled onto it over at PW and I will be adding it to my google reader asap. Your photos are amazing. My favorite photos are of Finny and Sadie! My dog Mac and I would like to invite you to stop over for our Pet Party.

You should take care of those flowers, Di. If they're the only ones left, then you should cherish them even more! What did you do to that spider, btw? I actually like your shot, hehe.
