Yesterday I stopped by the feed store to buy some wormer for the horses and goats and I also bought two huge bones for the dogs. Thinking I had just solved Finny's outside chewing problem I happily headed home to give the dogs there booty.
Well within about 3 minutes Finn abandoned his bone and went for Sadie's, which was a HUGE mistake on his part. Sadie might be smaller and more dainty but she can whip Finny's puppy butt, and I am saying that it was a smack down drag out dog fight. No happiness and rainbows here.
So I took his bone and put it in the back yard and separated them, good idea I thought I am sooo smart now they won't fight anymore! Wrong!
This morning after dropping the kids off at school there was a huge fight in the front yard. I went to go get finny's bone to settle it and it was gone. No where to be found. I've been out 4 times looking for it and have even dug in the front flower beds. Still can't find it. So we are back to two dogs and one bone.
So much for my bright idea! Who knows where he stashed that bone.

Handsome and Rowdy go at it too, no knock down drag outs yet but Hubby thinks it's coming in the months ahead....

I bet he remembers where he buried it, cheeky boy is perhaps thinking he will get Sadie's and then have his in secret...hehe
