My new best friend

I think since I got my new D60 I have taken 1000 photos, at least. experimenting with my settings, and trying to figure everything out. I am not quite there yet but loving every minute of it. Here are some of the pictures I have taken so far.

 

 
 

 
The macro setting on my new toy is not what my point and shoot is, I am trying to stand back a bit and get a feel for it. It is amazing to me the amount of editing I don't have to do with this camera. I am loving it though and look forward to each day and what I can find to photograph.

Love 'em. I have a D50 and really haven't even looked at the owner's manual yet. It's nice because it takes all sorts of lenses...just need to learn more about it.

What was your P&S camera again? I need a little one to take places where I don't want to hurt the Nikon.

Beautiful! You need a 60mm or 105mm lens to get really, really amazing macro shots. I have a 60mm, but I really lust after the 105mm!

He has written his own manuals for most of the Nikons and includes the deep-in-the-menu settings he uses to get vivid colors and all sorts of other good stuff, plus alot of tips and tricks you'll never find in the official Nikon guide.
