One of our new goats Cocoa has a favorite spot at the fence.
I can see her spot from my bathroom window. Whenever I pass by it I look out and there she is, standing and waiting. Looking towards the house.
In the sunshine and in the rain.
Waiting for cookies? Or maybe just a scratch.
I know that goats like to stand on things but I'm thinkin that her legs get tired standing there. When my hubby comes into the kitchen he says "Your goat is out there waiting for you!"
She's a funny little thing. I think I'm going to have to find something else for her to stand on though.
Hi Sarah,
When I was growing up there was a goat at the barn where I boarded my horse...she used to get up on the hoods of cars! Cocoa is very cute...I would have to go visit her if I saw her standing up like that!

LOL! I really like her, she reminds me of my "pet" goats when I was a kid—no pun intended!

Aww. Sweet. Does it make your heart melt knowing she's just out there waiting for you? Does she ever venture over to see the horse?

Have your super hubby build them a little something to climb. Like this for instance: http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/dailyrft/2009/06/behold_the_tower_of_baaa_findlay_goat_tower.php

That is too funny! I don't think he would do that.

SWEET!!!!
I had a pair of boy goats once, for pets. They wouldn't stay in the pen, they broke the front storm door, they would come in the house when you weren't looking....
but I loved 'em.

It looks like she has playmates. That is a wonder why she is always waiting, isn't it? Darling goat. Is she a Nubian?
