What does a border collie do when there are no sheep to herd? Sadie does this every morning when Super Daddy takes Miss H to school. She only chases his car, or what ever vehicle he is driving. She could care less about me. She worships the ground he walks on.
Sadie's daily morning herding job. from Sarah S. on Vimeo.
In real life Sadie is afraid of sheep. So I guess she feels like this is her job. She does it like clock work every morning. She stops just short of the invisible electric fence, sometimes she sits there and waits for HIM to come back.
OMGosh! She is so stinkin' fast! I love her! I think Border Collies are so dang smart.
That green grass is killing me. Gorgeous!

Our border collie believes it is his job to keep us in the backyard. He gets to the door first EVERY time then tries to block it with his head. He uses his body to push you back into the yard.
Their instinct is incredible!

Lax does the same thing whenever Dad heads up to the farm. Sticks to the Jeep like glue. :)
