Our snow storm turned to ice in the night. We awoke to a winter wonderland.
Everywhere I turned there was a new beauty to behold.
So far our electricity has stayed on.
The freezing rain is winding down a bit and the sun is trying to peak through the heavy clouds.
I am posting more pictures on my photo blog today. Enjoy!

For the last few days I have been experiencing some problems with typepad and was not able to get any comments. I believe problem has been fixed. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for sharing those extraordinary photos - such a contrast to what our southern states are experiencing...

UGH....my other comments are missing....okay
On the horse one....
my horse too is a peppermint lover. He will do anything for the sound of the crinkle wrapper. After his trailer accident it's the only way we could get him on the trailer.
Book recommendation...The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons....Brings it WW2 alive and the love story is wonderful and complicated.
