Yes! A hair cut!

Yesterday I had my first haircut since my hair fell out during chemo. I got a nice shampoo massage and cut. There was not much to cut but she shaped it up a bit and styled it for me. It looks great. If I could only make it look that good at home! I also colored my hair on Tuesday. It is a bit more red than usual but I thought I would shake it up a bit and go with something different.

 

Yesterday and the night before we were supposed to get ice, but It just rained a lot. When I got home from taking the girls to school I realized that some of the rain had frozen on the trees. So I ran for my camera as usual. I got these shots, I touched the drops and they were half frozen into what I can only describe as a gel texture. It was really beautiful.

Hey, your elves below are pretty funny! And these photos are GREAT! Also loved the vintage ones below of your family at Christmas.

My husband can't wait to get his hair cut. He's doing chemo right now and is talking of having me do his hair. I DO NOT DO HAIR. So I've gotta find him somewhere to go.

I have the same tendencies as mentioned in number four. Thankfully I married a man who likes to keep a clean kitchen. He cleans up after me with only the slightest grumble...

Hi Sarah,

Merry Christmas to you and your family! I am also so glad that we "met" each other this year. I hope you all have a beautiful time together these coming weeks...I know we are so looking forward to it. My parents are coming up from NC on Monday, and we are all excited about that. We are icy and snowy here and I think I would prefer the rain, but oh well you get what you get, right?
