We set out yesterday to buy our school supplies. Mission accomplished, with a few exceptions. We need to get a couple of things at Staples but mostly we got everything we needed. I don't know much about other school systems but around my neck of the woods part of your school supplies list consists of tissues, antibacterial hand jell, paper towels, zippy bags and wipes. In theory this is a good idea. I however always end up buying a whole cart of these items just for school. I guess though it is a good thing to have a good stock of these things in the classroom. For the sake of the teacher's sanity. Luckily HES does not have to have these things for her school. She does not even have a school supply list. She just needed pens, paper and some folders. Yay!( I do have to pay for her books though). Hooray for used borrowed books!

Anti-bacterial hand gel? Help! I dread to think what mischief naughty little boys would create with that...

Exactly, Alice! Anti-bacterial gel?? Seriously? So weird!
We'll be doing the last minute school shopping this week for LM. Ugh. We just whipped out the list and they need a USB card. Remember Floppy Disks?

lol you won't be saying horray for used books once she hits college! gosh they are so expensive, and sometimes even a waste of money. i havent even gotten mine yet cuz i think i opened them once last semester. so i'm just waiting to see if i'll actually need them this semester!
thats goofy though that they have to bring hand gel. we never had to do that, tissues yes but hand gel no. wierd. glad youre doing well tho! :)
