Yesterday in edition to taking my middle child to camp and getting my neulasta shot we needed to get some shearing done.
I am usually the designated sheep shearer in our family. I have been doing it the longest. So I get stuck with the job. It is a hot job, and not at all glamorous. A bit stinky too. This year I surrendered the job to HES and Super-Daddy. They did a fine job.
Chadwick was very cooperative and stood for the whole time without tipping over the stand. He is much cooler now. We only have to shear one more time before the fair.
SES is at 4-H camp having a marvelous time. Swimming, going to campfires, doing crafts and hanging out with her friends. I miss her already. She will be gone a week. I hope she does not get poison ivy!
