I Am Off

I am off to the beach with my two friends KCP and EKB. I am so excited. A weekend of relaxation, wine, food and girl talk. I just about have my bag packed. I am leaving this morning. Yippee!

I had a really good time last night. I attended a local young survivors group. It was fun. I met some really nice people. Everyone was so supportive and kind and welcoming. Thanks girls! I will be back. It was nice to just sit and talk and ask questions and find things out that I did not know. I got lots of chemo tips. I am feeling a little more relaxed about my chemo now. Somehow I feel because all these brave survivors did it I can do it too! I also met a girl that is starting Chemo at the same time I am. It will be nice to have a buddy to go through this with. It also turns out we went to high school together. Small world!

I must go and pack my bag. I will take lots of picture of my weekend.
