Things are changing around here. finally it's starting to turn green around here. The grass has a little color and there are flowers, yes flowers popping up.
The light is changing, and daylight savings is in full swing. Although that always screws things up for the kids and dogs.
Little E has come into my room every day this week at 10pm saying she can't go to sleep. I'm hoping this will stop next week. I don't have the energy to tuck her in 3 times a night.
During my chemo break I have been able to go out for some walks and we ventured into the big city and shopped for Prom dresses for Miss H. Believe it or not we bought the first dress she tried on. It's beautiful on her, it made me cry.
It looks gorgeous on her and she is so excited for her Senior Prom.
I did really well walking in the mall and was not short of breath and didn't cough a lot. It was a good feeling to do something normal with my girls.
I have chemo this thursday, which I'm not looking forward to. I've been doing chemo for a year now. Wow a year, when I was first diagnosed I never would have thought I would have the energy to do this for a year. I trudge on and I go to my treatments and I let everyone take care of me. Only getting to cook and do household chores on my off weeks. I really miss it, not the house cleaning but the cooking and the everyday chores. I know it sounds funny. We are supposed to complain about those thing right?
For today I am enjoying being able to cook dinner and get the kids off to school, after today it will be a while.
Happy St Patrick's day to all my Irish Friends!

I just love that dress. Can't wait to see pics of your daughter wearing it.
Glad you got to enjoy shopping with her too.
Good luck with your chemo...hope all goes well.
Have a great St Pats Day!

Darling dress, great that you were able to enjoy the day!
It's amazing what wells of strength we posses; don't know if I would meet your challenges with such strength and courage. You are amazing!!!!

I can't believe you have blooming flowers and green grass! We have been having sunny days in the upper 40's - low 50's. The snow is melting fast. It is nice to see more brown ground than white stuff.
Glad you had a good week and that you can let your family take care of you. I bet that took some practice. Men don't seem to clean quite like a lady.
I am happy to hear you are able to get out spending time w/ your daughters and enjoying the outdoors. As usual your picts are beautiful.
Best wishes w/ your treatment this week. I hope it goes better than you are expecting.

Lovely photos! And Spring!! I am a week behind in reading blog posts, but here it snowed just a bit yesterday and there is still lots of ice and snow on the ground. But your pictures make me believe that Spring must be coming soon - thank you!
That is a gorgeous dress, and your daughter will feel magical in it :)
