I am at chemo today and wanted to post something cute and happy. What else could I do, but think about my Finny?
He is turned out to be a very social little boy. He loves the girls with his whole heart and he is ALWAYS happy to see me. He is doing well with his house training. I am not saying he is perfect but he is getting there. He has figured out how to ring the bell on the door when he needs to go outside.
He and Sadie have become big buddies and spend most of the day playing. It's so much fun watching them. They make me laugh.
He has learned how to sit, and he knows what no means. He has gotten lots of practice with that. Yesterday he learned that the trash can is really a buffet just for him. He is also not so keen on the ceiling fans. He thinks they are all out to get him. Miss E turned one on the other night and he was very scared of it. Now whenever he enters the room he glances up just to make sure the ceiling is not going to attack him.
It's hard to believe we have only had him for a couple of weeks. He fits into our family like he has been here the whole time.

I was saddened to hear your news. Whenever I need some TLC, I visit your blog. I'll be thinking of you today.

It's so wonderful to see how much joy Finny is bringing you. The pictures and reading about him make me smile. I hope your chemotherapy goes as well as it can today!

Finny is adorable, and truly, having a dog around the house (or dogs) is great for the spirit! I was diagnosed with MS this past year, and I feel guilty that they don't get as many walks as they used to, but some days, they're the only reason I get out of bed!
Take care, and cuddle up with those kids and pups!

I was sorry to read that your cancer has returned. My hope and prayer for you is that it will be beaten again and not ever return again. I know this is possible because a cousin just turned 70 and she had breast cancer twice over 30 years ago. I asked her what to expect when I was going thru chemo and her treatment was nothing like mine. Thankfully, now there are things to help with nausea and chemo fatigue. Of course, we still have to endure so much but still, cancer can be beat.
Having a supportive husband and family makes a difference, too! My husband retired when I was in chemo fatigue. He is an excellent cook and since I get off work starving at 6 pm, oh how thankful I am for that! :)
