This weekend I took a step back from my computer. From Blogging and blog reading. I had a nice long holiday weekend just enjoying the beautiful weather, gardening and reading on the front porch. I have a posse that follows me around while I am doing what I do. A four footed posse.
They have very different personalities. Like night and day.
Chloe who is my white shadow just sits with me to keeps me company. Coming over for a scratch behind the ears once and a while. If I have a snack or a glass of cold tea she sits and waits and hopes for crumbs to fall.
Sadie on the other hand is all action all the time. Staring me down with those big brown eyes, waiting for me to throw her ball.
Staring......
and staring.......
hoping, and......
letting me know she is getting impatient with me.

Well it was peaceful most of the time, not too many smackdowns. I did enjoy my book and my quiet time. I even managed to elude my family for a while, sitting around the corner of the porch so I was not visable from the front door.

Aww how cute Sarah...I love how you narrate what is going on with them!

And this post is why I love dogz. Ours are pretty goofy too and make me giggle a lot. Narration of dogz is a daily thing in our house... LOL

What a lovely porch! Glad you enjoyed your weekend. I've been contemplating taking a blogger break, too. Not sure how I could go without reading other's blogs.... ;) Love your dogs, they are beautiful and look like they are so full of personality!

That sounds a perfect weekend. I love watching my two play around together. I know that throw the ball look very well..hehe
As much as i love blogging it is nice to take a few days off it completely and just relax in the garden.
Have a great weekend, i hope it is as relaxing for you. :-)

OW! Sadie grabbing poor Chloe's throat like that looks like it hurts! They look so cute, playing like that. Hmm, gotta convince Steve to get another dog...

How cute! Chloe is so patient! I must admit, I do love the energetic nature of Border Collies! Always raring to go! Glad you got some quiet time in.
