Today my wonderful hubby and I are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. We had our wedding at our family farm in the yard. It was a beautiful day sunny and warm with friends and family gathered around us.
The farm that I grew up on once belonged to my husband's family. That made it even more special. Remember I told you in a post that my Dad shot off our canon at my wedding? You can see the canon in this picture.
It was truly a very happy day. I married the love of my life and my best friend. I love him even more today then I did at this moment. We have been through a lot together. He has been my rock to lean on. I can't imagine a life without him. He is the most amazing father too. What more could a girl ask for?
Last year I was not really able to celebrate much. Tonight we are going out on a date. dinner and a movie. We have not been out to dinner since my hair has come back. I can't wait! We are going to our favorite Italian place. I am saving up all my calories for pasta and dessert!

Congratulations! You got married on the same day as my sister. I was a bridesmaid on the other side of the world on the same day that you said your vows. Isn't that amazing to consider!
